Meet Chris Wendt

I have served as Business Manager at Immanuel since 2011. Before that, I worked in Human Resources for Dominick’s Finer Foods and A.C. Nielsen, then owned my own business for 12 years.

My wife, Cheryl, and I were high school sweethearts and married at Immanuel in 1988. Cheryl is currently the Chief Development Officer for Lutheran Child & Family Services. We have two daughters, both fifth-generation graduates of Immanuel Lutheran School. Jessicca is an eighth-grade teacher in District 300 and lives in Crystal Lake. Lauren is a financial analyst with Huntington Financial Services and recently built a new house on the west side of Elgin with her husband, Sameer. Maddie, our yellow lab puppy, completes our family.

I am most thankful to God for my family. We get together almost every weekend to watch the Bears, play pinochle, or simply relax on the patio.
