Meet David Meier

I’ve had the privilege of serving at Immanuel since 2004, when I was first called as a Director of Christian Education after graduating from Concordia University Chicago. In 2014, I earned a Master of Science in Family Life Education from Concordia University Nebraska, continuing to deepen my passion for supporting families in their faith journeys.

Today, I serve as both DCE and Vicar while taking classes through Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, working toward certification in the Specific Ministry Pastor program. One of the greatest joys in my ministry is walking alongside families—equipping and encouraging them as they pass on the faith to the next generation.

My wife, Susan, teaches 2nd grade at Immanuel and we have been married since 2005. Together, we have three children: Clara, Evelyn, and William. Outside of ministry, you’ll often find me enjoying the outdoors, camping with my family, reading a good book, cooking, or tackling projects around the house.
