Meet Miss Piel

I have been teaching since 2016. Prior to Immanuel I taught first and second grade at St. John’s in Elgin and third grade at Saint Paul in Mount Prospect.

I grew up in West Dundee and currently live in Elgin with my sister.

I grew up in the Lutheran church and attended Concordia University, Chicago. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share God’s love with my students in daily prayer, singing, and study of God’s word.

In my classroom, I love to read and share books with my students! Through art and writing, I hope to inspire a sense of creativity and imagination. I enjoy helping third graders develop confidence in their God-given abilities and watching them grow as students throughout the year!
