Meet Mrs. Cunningham

I have taught Pre-Kindergarten at Immanuel since 2019. I previously taught K-Plus here at Immanuel, and 5th-8th grade Social Studies in Algonquin, IL.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University. My husband Paul and I reside in Algonquin. We enjoy walks with our family dog, Rosie, and exploring nature and new places. Our two daughters, Emily and Alyssa, are now married and starting careers and lives of their own.

In my classroom, children are encouraged to be curious, explore, and become confident learners. I strive to incorporate a hands-on approach, blending structured learning with free play, to ensure every learner feels capable and excited to learn. I love to see my students make connections in their learning! I am blessed to be part of the Immanuel family and to share the love of Christ with these little ones.
