Meet Mrs. Tanney

I graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska with a degree in K–12 Art Education and Pre-Art Therapy. After graduating, I taught art and preschool in Wisconsin. During that time, I also earned my elementary education certification and completed my master’s degree at Concordia University Wisconsin.

While my husband attended seminary in St. Louis, I had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles, including preschool director and building substitute teacher. I’m thankful for the experiences God has given me, and I’m excited to now be part of the ministry at Immanuel.

My husband, Adam, is the associate pastor here at Immanuel. We met at Concordia Nebraska and got married after graduation. We have four wonderful children, and we feel so blessed that they all attend Immanuel.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, and reading. I can't wait to partner with your family as your child begins their journey of learning and growing!
