Meet Mrs. Zinck

I have been at Immanuel since 2013. I started teaching Spanish in 2014.

We learn in a conversational way, much like a toddler learns to speak and understand language. We also learn to write Spanish. My favorite thing about teaching Spanish is when a student returns and lets me know they understood something they heard or read.

Before coming to Immanuel I taught preschool for 8 years and loved seeing the light go on when they understand something. I still get that feeling when a 7th or 8th grader says "Now I get it Mrs. Zinck."

My husband and I have been married for 44 years, have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. Any moment spent with them is great. I enjoy going to Schaumburg Boomers baseball games, but my favorite thing is learning more from and about God.
