Immanuel
PArent Teacher League
What is PTL?
Immanuel’s Parent Teacher League (PTL) is a group of dedicated parent volunteers who work together to support the students, teachers, and school community. All parents and guardians of an Immanuel student are invited to be involved. Opportunities range from a single hour to larger planning roles.
PTL meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 6:00-7:00 pm in the AARC at school. Contact immanuelptl@immanuel-ed.org with questions.
-
During the year, PTL plans and runs a number of social events for parents and students. Check back here for more information on upcoming events.
-
During the year, PTL hosts a variety of fundraisers to help support upgrades for the school. Check back here for information on current and upcoming fundraisers.
-
Immanuel’s teachers are what make the school what it is, and we’re thankful for each of them! PTL puts on random appreciation luncheons, Teacher Appreciation Week, and offers support to all room parents.
-
All families at Immanuel are required to complete 20 hours in service to the school.
Many sporting events depend on volunteers for concessions, admissions, scoring table, setup, etc. Lunch and recess supervision, from 11:30-12:40 daily, will allow our amazing teachers to have a break for lunch and classroom preparation. Other volunteer opportunities include morning carline, crossing guard, reading parent, chaperoning/actively assisting field trips, campus cleanup/landscaping. You can also check with your child’s teacher to see if there are other ways you can help!
Head Room Parents, Head or Assistant Coaches, or PTL officers automatically fulfill the 20 hour minimum. If you co-lead as a room parent or PTL officer position, that will count as half of your hours. If you attend an overnight trip, that counts up to 10 hours.
