Two styles of worship, One message.

SATURDAY 5PM + SUNDAY 8AM

Traditional Worship

Immanuel offers a traditional worship on Saturday at 5:00 PM and Sunday at 8:00 AM. We worship using the Lutheran Service Book each week. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd weekends of each month. These services follow the Lutheran liturgy and include hymns led by organ.

SUNDAY 10:30AM

Contemporary Worship

Immanuel also offers a contemporary worship on Sunday at 10:30 AM. The service includes music led by a worship leader and praise ensemble (singers and band) at the front of the sanctuary. The service follows the Lutheran liturgical structure. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.

When you visit Immanuel, you can expect a worship service centered on Jesus Christ, grounded in God’s Word, and filled with the rich gifts He gives to His people. As a congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, our worship follows a historic liturgy that connects us with Christians throughout generations and across the world.

Where to find us.

Immanuel is located in the heart of East Dundee, at the corner of Main Street and Van Buren, where God has gathered His people for worship, fellowship, and service for generations.

What about kids?

We encourage children to participate in worship and experience the joy of gathering with God’s people. To help young children engage during the service, activity bags are available at the back of the sanctuary for families to use.   • Come as you are! You will find people dressed in a variety of ways, from casual to more formal. What matters most is that you are here to hear God’s Word, receive His gifts, and worship with His people.

  • Our worship is centered on Jesus Christ and follows a historic Lutheran liturgy rooted in Scripture. Each service includes hymns and songs (traditional 8am and contemporary 10:30am), Scripture readings, preaching, prayer, an offering, and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper.   • Children are a cherished part of our congregation, and we welcome families to worship together. Activity bags are available in the back of the sanctuary, and a staffed nursery is available during worship for families who would like to use it. We also offer opportunities for children and youth to grow in faith through programs such as Immanuel Kids Sunday Morning, Confirmation, and youth ministry.

  • At Immanuel, we believe the Lord’s Supper is a precious gift from Christ and a confession of our shared faith. Those who share our confession of faith and have received instruction in the biblical teaching of the Lord’s Supper are invited to receive Communion with us. If you are visiting or have questions, we would love to speak with you and help you understand this gift.
